BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!! Inner City Cultural Center II and Tuesday Conner are proud to present "Gil Scott-Heron Bluesology" starring Gil Scott-Herons daughter, Gia Scott-Heron.

Join us for an evening that will spark your soul and shake your emotions when Poets Jazz House spoken word artists ignite the flames of a legend in Gil Scott-Heron Bluesology...it's FIRE, its YESTERDAY, IT'S TODAY, IT'S NOW!!!

The timeless and classic words of Gil Scott-Heron, an American icon, are still prevalent today. Scott-Heron is considered the GODFATHER OF RAP because his music reflects the turbulence, uncertainty and increasing pessimism of the times, with a satirical edge told in the tradition of oral poetry and storytelling.

Catch the fire December 5-7, 11 & 13, 2023 at 7:30 pm SHARP!

Gia Scott-Heron and a powerhouse band of spoken word artists will captivate the audience spitting the powerful intensity of truth with messages from a visionary and the thought provoking rhythms that made Gil Scott-Heron an influential figure in the World.

Poets Jazz House is a Spoken Word & Music Lounge where spilling your heart is an art and searching your soul is mandatory to get in the door. Located in a quaint little Playhouse in the park we're bringing you Poetry After Dark. The ensemble cast includes: Conney Williams, Lorenzo Frank, Clent Bowers, Yawo Watts, Art.us Mansoir, Tuesday Conner and the ORACLE aka Denise Lyles-Cook.
